It would be a cool premise for an Elseworlds-type story. Mark could wipe out every walker on the planet without breaking a sweat, but Kirkman always finds interesting situations and emotional obstacle courses to put his characters in. With the differences between the perspectives of the two protagonists, there's a lot of ways it could go.
Plus, the art would be fun if everyone was B&W except Mark.
