Like everyone else said, the art is great. I'm curious to who your target audience is. Because so far it seems like an adventure story that boys 8 and up would read, BUT it is a bit traumatizing to see the kid kill his double instead of just incapacitate him. It also makes it hard to root for the boy as he gets sacrificed. The artist does a very good job keeping the angles rotating in the conversation scenes, keeping the story visually interesting, even when they're saying exposition. The style looks like a mixture between Jeff Smith and Mark Bagley, which is a great style to have if you're targeting the young adult crowd. I also like the designs of the parallel universe, and the claw/transporter. Maybe as the story goes on, those concerns will be put to rest, but this was a positive initial reaction.
Creepy and intriguing!
