Panel 1
The two men have reached the remnants of the White House. What was once the Oval office is now a throne, occupied by the BEAST. Surrounding him are the statues of all the heroes who have fallen before him.

CAPTION:
He's set up his throne in the White House. And so it ends where it all began.

CAPTION:
Surrounding him are fallen bodies of my comrades in arms. And my enemies. He has taken their powers for himself.

TIME TRAVELLER:
Stay here. I'll try to get close to him undetected.

Panel 2
The time traveller crawls towards the throne.

CAPTION:
But it is my hope they can still be resurrected and set free.

Panel 3
Skull man stands on a hill and shouts to the Beast.

SKULL MAN:
Beast. I have delivered to you the man you sought. It is time to honor your bargain and free my mother.

Panel 4
The dead rise up around the time traveller and grab him.

BEAST:
You have done well, my disciple.

TIME TRAVELER:
Traitor. I almost had him.

Panel 6
The dead release Catherine Cochrane.

BEAST:
Behold, your price.

TIME TRAVELLER:
Catherine!?
