Stanley sits behind the kitchen counter, sweating, thinking, stressed.

STANLEY GRUBER (THOUGHT)

Oh god, oh god, oh god. Why did I lose my gun?

Panel 2

Stanley sees the ghost image of the dead man next to him approaching him with mad rage. In his right hand he holds Stanley’s gun, but he’s not pointing it yet.

CAPTION

He’s gonna come around - and I’ll havta snuff him.

Panel 3

Stanley readies himself, holds the poker up.

Panel 4

The man appears around the corner in the exact same position as the ghost image, with Stanley’s gun in his right hand.

Panel 5

Stanley punctures him with the fire poker.
