Later that evening.

DETECTIVE

So he finally snapped, eh?

POLICE

Yup, forensics indicate he killed the man and pushed the broad onto the fire poker. She managed to shoot him with her gun, though. Died a slow, agonizing death.

I believe him now. If all you can see is death and murder, it’s got to change you into nothing short of a monster. It was only a matter of time.
